Market + competitive
Where can we win, and what is changing around us?
The engagements
Work that starts with a deliverable tends to produce a deliverable. Divergent Logic begins with one material commercial question, draws on the evidence that question requires and carries the answer toward action.
The approach
A growth question can begin in any part of the commercial system: market position, demand, content, commerce, conversion, economics or measurement. The question—not the channel, deliverable or preselected solution—determines what evidence we examine.
Every piece of work should trace back to a decision someone can explain, defend and act on.
Where the question begins
Start with the commercial issue you can name. We follow the relevant lens and connect any other evidence needed to reach a defensible answer.
Where can we win, and what is changing around us?
Is demand investment adding profitable growth?
Which messages and creators actually change choice?
Can people and machines find, trust and choose us?
Where are customers dropping out before purchase?
Which pricing, margin or payback decision matters most?
What evidence is reliable enough to act on?
Entry offer 1
Purpose: Answer one material growth decision with one defensible answer grounded in the evidence.
Begin with one material growth question across any of the seven analytical lenses. A lightweight Decision Evidence Specification establishes what is needed, where it exists and what remains missing. The work produces the answer, rationale, confidence, order of operations and measurement plan. If the evidence cannot support the decision, we say so and define what must be learned first.
Evidence-ready means the required access and data have been confirmed against the Decision Evidence Specification.
Entry offer 2
Purpose: Know whether your products are ready to be understood, trusted, selected and acted upon in machine-mediated commerce.
Machine-readable product readiness is not a feed-quality check. The Score assesses whether the brand holds governed commercial truth that can be read, understood, compared, verified, selected and acted upon across owned commerce, search, marketplaces, retailers and agentic systems.
A governed readiness profile showing where the brand is strong, where machine-mediated discovery or selection can break, which gaps matter most, and what should change next.
If there is value to create
The two entry offers stand alone. Execution, ongoing operation and partner delivery are separately scoped only after the evidence establishes a useful path forward.
Focused execution. Take the selected priority into execution: fix, test, operate and reallocate.
Ongoing operating relationship. Monthly retainer. Weekly operating cadence. Scoped after the first engagement.
Enterprise and partner route. Partner-specific analytical and measurement capability, built, operated or transferred to fit the relationship.
The path
Start with readiness or start with the decision.
Continue into a focused operating mandate or ongoing relationship only when the first engagement establishes value.
The fit
The model fits a founder who needs senior growth leadership without building a large internal team, a head of commerce who needs product data, content, conversion, marketplaces, media and measurement connected, or a marketing leader accountable for a commercial number that must survive the boardroom. It works best where the client can provide access, make decisions and act on the evidence.
The next step
A working conversation helps us determine fit, scope and the right first step before either side commits to an engagement.
